On Thursday, Clearwire Corp said that company’s 4G network will be used by Best Buy Inc. with latter will be using the network to offer mobile internet service to customers across US under Best Buy Connect brand. Starting from 2011, there will be offered a new 4G tier for Best Buy Connect for customers with the company using Clearwire’s network. Clearwire’s network coverage is currently available in numbers of US cities, and there are expectations for it to further grow as well. Clearwire uses cable companies to sell its 4G services with latter offering the same bundled with their core services. Sprint Nextel Corp. has its large stake in Clearwire Corp. for latter building wireless carrier’s WiMax network. Sprint’s HTC EVO 4G which proved a huge success for it actually finds its reliance over 4G network built by Clearwire.
