There were spotted images of Windows 7 tablet on HP’s website with them suggesting the company to have production of Windows 7 powered tablets in the pipeline. Citing numbers of multiples of online sources, eweek.com reports that HP website’s cached page has listed a tablet PC with name HP Slate 500. And according to description of the tablet PC mentioned over the site, premier specs of the device include 8.9-inch screen, two cameras with one for still image while other for web conferencing, Windows 7 Premium, and a pen for writing or drawing. The tablet will also be enjoining headphones as well.
It looks that Windows 7 tablets will be joining HP’s WebOS tablets as the company has recently got approval to use PalmPad trademark from FCC with maximum possibility for it use the trademark primarily for tablets running over Palm’s WebOS. It is learned that Plam, the marker of WebOS was recently acquired by HP in a deal worth of $1.2 billion.
Earlier, there were surfaced rumours suggesting HP concentrating on development of tablets running over Windows 7 and WebOS with Allthingdital.com reported to have said about HP’s plans of developing tablets running over android OS have been put on hold by the company.
