In a recent FCC filing, there was disclosed a new Android handset named Motorola Sage with the phone expected to be AT&T’s next Android offering. The phone featuring 7.2 Mbps HSDPA, 2 Mbps HSUPA on the 850 and 1900 MHz bands, has Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, AGPS, quadband EDGE and digital compass. If reports about the phone to come over AT&T network are indeed true then with Motorola Saga, AT&T’s bucket of Android phones will see entry of another Motorola phone as currently has featured Samsung Captivate, Motorola Backflip, HTC Aria and Dell Aero. Surely, that does not make AT&T better compared to Verizon wireless which currently is ruling the roost in Android phone market with its Droid series of phones featuring the latest released highly popular Droid X.
