There has just been announced a Flipout Android handset by Motorola. The handset which is powered by Google’s Android 2.1 is also loaded with Motoblur, which is Motorola’s custom users interface for Android handsets.

The Motoblur interface is known for efficiently aggregating and syncing Facebook, MySpace, Twitter, Gmail and Last Fm.

There is also provided five-row rotator QWERTY keypad in the handset which has a separate row for numeric keys. The handset is being launched with multi-touch support which include pinch to zoom on a 2.8 inch screen [320x240 pixels], and options of seven customizable home screens.

Featuring square design, the handset is 6.7cm in length and breath while carries thickness of 1.7 cm. The encapsulated 1170 mAh battery in the phone, is set to deliver 357 minutes of talk time under GSM network while under WCDMA network the handset delivers 275 minutes of talk time.

Contrary to this, under GSM network, users of the handset will enjoy 365 hours of standby time while under WCDMA network, they will have a bit more 377 hours of standby time.

The Flipout handset which has been made available in eight colors is studded with 3mp built in camera.

The handset has also been made enamored with Android HTML WebKit browser which supports Adobe Flash.

This latest Android offering from Motorola features 512 MB of internal memory, and supports up to 32 GB of microSD cards.

Motorola has plans to release the handset in European markets in June.
