Answering to Apple dragging Droid X in its Antennagate debacle, Motorola’s latest ad which is slated to hit newspapers soon disclosed that compared to iOS4 loaded iPhone requiring a jacket to make a call, its latest released Android offering Droid X does not require to be jacketed up for making calls. The quote written in the add reads:

“At Motorola, we believe a customer shouldn’t have to dress up their phone for it to work properly. That’s why the Droid X comes with a dual antenna design. The kind that allows you to hold the phone any way you like to make crystal clear calls without a bulky phone jacket. For us it’s just one of those things that comes as a given when you’ve been making mobile phones for over 30 years.”

Earlier, Samsung had also mocked Apple’s iPhone4 antenna issues with its UK arm were reported to have been offering free Galaxy S handset to people dissatisfied with their iPhone 4.
