Samsung has launched its HD video compatible HMX-E10 camcorder and Wi-Fi enabled ST80 digital camera. A Swivel lens Camcorder, HMX-E10 has 270-degree swivel lens for users to capture video from nearly any angle. The camcorder captures full HD 1920 by 1080 video at 30 frames per second along with it being compatible to be used as still camera armed with eight megapixels. The camcorder also has fitted a 2.7 inch LCD touchscreen display along with two connectivity options: HDMI output and USB. The camcorder comes pre-loaded with Samsung’s intelli-studio video editing and sharing program. Users can share videos on website and YouTube via one-touch upload feature of the device. According to Samsung, the camcorder will be made available in September at suggested retail price of $199.99. There will be available two White and Black versions of the device.
Moving on, there was also launched a Wi-Fi equipped digital camera called ST80 by Korean tech giant. Other then being a Wi-Fi camera, some of the premier features of it are: 3 inch WQVGA touchscreen display, 720p HD Video recording at 30 frames per second, 3x optical zoom, and Samsung AllShare technology making it simple to upload and share videos with the camera. Apparently, camera comes accompanying with Boingo [a mobile hotspot operator] hotspot account giving users the option of uploading their photos from 120,000 Wi-Fi hotspots across the globe. There is also included a cutting edge cropping and scene recognition technology in Samsung’s ST80 digital camera.
Further, launching the camera for sale in September at suggested price of $249.99 is something Samsung expects for the device.
